Low E Coated Bird Friendly Glass

AviProtek^® Turbo pattern 915 is a bird safe solution with a design of 5mm acid etched dots arranged in a 2″ x 2″ square grid on surface one and a choice of Solarban^® low e coatings on surface two. This bird friendly solution meets requirements for bird safe building design across North America, including those based on the 2×4 rule.

Shown here is the low e coated version of AviProtek^® Turbo pattern 915. For projects that do not require energy efficient glass, please refer to the monolithic version of this product.

Energy: Available with Vitro Glass Solarban^® coatings; other coatings available on demand.

Availability: AviProtek^® Turbo glass products with low e coating on surface two are only available for members of the Vitro Certified™ Network.

Bird Collision Deterrence: The pattern meets most published standards, guidelines and legislation adopted by states, cities and provinces across North America, and has a Threat Factor of 25 from the American Bird Conservancy (ABC).

Surface: Etching is to be used on the exterior surface only
