Walker Glass is pleased to announce the launch of AviProtek® Turbo, an innovative bird-friendly glass solution designed specifically to meet growing market demand and related quick delivery times. The new product line will be officially revealed at GlassBuild this November.
The program is coined, “Bigger, Faster, Better” for good reason. Larger sizes are offered and significantly improved delivery lead times are possible due to a highly innovative production process. The AviProtek® Turbo program is ideal for large projects requiring quick turnaround at competitive prices.
This offering is the result of extensive research and development focused on producing select patterns more efficiently, all while maintaining the high quality and visual consistency that architects and fabricators expect from the AviProtek® brand.
At launch, AviProtek® Turbo will be available in two options, 917 and 915, using the most-specified patterns on the market. These 2” x 2” dot patterns are compliant with all North American bird-safe building legislation. The glass will be available with or without a low-e coating. Standard dimensions will include 96″ x 130″ and 100″ x 144″, with other sizes available upon request, and thicknesses will range from 3mm to 12mm.
